DETROIT (WWJ) - Police in Detroit are searching for the suspect who shot and killed a teenager during a block party on the city's northwest side.
The shooting happened just after 1 a.m. Sunday in the area of Appoline between Buena Vista and Grand River, near I-96.
Police say the 18-year-old was with his brother at the block party and at some point, the brother found the teen with a gunshot wound. He was taken to the hospital where he died.
Other circumstances surrounding the shooting weren't immediately clear.
The suspect remains at large. Police say no pictures or videos are available.
