DETROIT (WWJ) -- Detroit police say a four-year-old girl who was found wandering the streets has been reunited with relatives.
Police said Friday afternoon that two good Samaritans found the girl wandering the streets in the area of Avondale and Lakewood Streets in the Jefferson Chalmers neighborhood on the city's east side. The girl's caretakers were not immediately found in the area, so she was brought to DPD's Fifth Precinct.
Authorities told WWJ Friday night that her relatives were located and she was reunited with them.
Police did not disclose any further details on the incident, but did say Child Protective Services is investigating.
