$30,000 In Meth Seized, 11 Arrested In Port Huron Drug Bust

(WWJ) Nearly a dozen people were arrested during a drug bust in Port Huron this week.

A search warrant executed by the St. Clair County Drug Task Force Tuesday night at a house in the 2500 block of Vanness Street, west of 24th Street.  Investigators found around $30,000 worth of methamphetamine, according to authorities, along with smaller amounts of ecstasy, crack cocaine and pills along.


They also seized two handguns, a rifle, a sawed off shotgun, cash and drug paraphernalia.

Officers took nine men, ranging in age from 17 to 24 years old, along with two minor boys, ages 14 and 16 into custody. They were all later released pending warrants. 

The suspects face charges including possession with intent to deliver the illegal drugs as well weapons offenses, according to the St. Clair County Sheriff's Office.

Their names are being with held pending arraignments on the charges.

"I believe this information is useful for citizens to be aware of drug crimes going on in their neighborhood."
