TAYLOR (WWJ) - One person has been arrested in connection with a pair of Detroit-area task force drug raids.

Michigan State Police say the MSP Metro Narcotics Enforcement Team (MNET) executed search warrants in Taylor and Inkster in Thursday.

Officers discovered pure fentanyl and crack cocaine packaged for sale, police said, as well as pills, two pistols, a fentanyl processing area, and just under $100,000 in cash. The drugs and the money were seized by police.

Police said the suspect, a convicted felon, was out on bond on previous charges for selling fentanyl. His name was not immediately released as he awaits formal charges in this case.

MNET is multi agency task force made of up officers from MSP, Van Buren Township police, Garden City police, Detroit police, Dearborn police, Inkster police, Allen Park police, and Taylor police, as well as federal investigators with the FBI, Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and the IRS.
