WARREN (WWJ) - Authorities are trying to determine what caused a boarded-up bowling alley in Warren to catch fire overnight.

The fire took off around 2:30 a.m. Wednesday morning in the back of the former Pampa Lanes building along Van Dyke Avenue between 13 Mile and 14 Mile roads.

Battalion Chief Dave Clancy said the fire caused heavy interior damage, but no one was injured.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

The bowling alley has been closed for about 10 years.
