(WWJ) A woman is facing drunk driving charges after police say she almost ran over a group of kids in the Troy Sports Center parking lot.
Police say a good samaritan saw the 48-year old Rochester Hills woman driving erratically through the parking lot along Big Beaver Road and grabbed the keys from the car after she ran over a parking block and stopped.
The witness called police.
Even though the woman said she only had one drink, her blood alcohol level was .23, or nearly three times the legal limit. The woman was arrested and charged with operating a vehicle under the influence.
