DETROIT (WWJ) — Detroit police say there's good news in the case of a teenage boy who went missing last Wednesday afternoon.
Police said Chris Estell III left his home on Schaefer, just south of McNichols, around noon on Feb. 28 to go to the store, and then didn't come home, according to the Detroit Police Department.
Police released later in the day, asking for tips to help find him.
In an update shared by the DPD on March 5, officials said the teen has been recovered and he's "doing fine."
Police did not say where they teen had been, and no further information was released.
