17-year-old girl who'd been missing in Detroit since March 1 has been recovered, police say

DETROIT (WWJ) -- The Detroit Police Department says a teenager who'd been missing in the city for more than a month has been found, and is OK.

Police said Christina Napier, 17, was last seen in the area of Joy Rd. and Dexter in Detroit on Friday, March 1. She was reported missing on March 11, after she did not return to her home on W. Philadelphia, on the city's west side.


In an update shared by police Wednesday evening, the DPD said Napier has been recovered and that she's doing fine. Police didn't say where they'd been, and no further information was released.
