
TAYLOR (WWJ) A suspect remains on the run after shooting a 19-year-old man in the wrist at Southland Center Mall in Taylor.
Taylor Police told WWJ Newsradio 950 the shooting happened during the afternoon of Saturday, March 22, at the shopping center on Eureka near I-75—after a fight involving young people in the parking lot.
According to WDIV-TV, the wounded victim walked into the mall after he was shot, seeking help.
The mall was not placed on lockdown or evacuated.
There’s no word on a motive for the shooting, or whether the suspect knew the victim, and there is no description of the shooter at this time.
The victim’s condition was not released.
