WARREN (WWJ) -- A pedestrian was hit by a car and killed in Macomb County on Thursday morning, and the driver could face charges.
Warren police say that a 69-year-old man was crossing Van Dyke near 9 mile around midnight when he was struck by a southbound traveling vehicle, who apparently did not see him.
While the driver did stop at the scene, they refused breathalyzer and field sobriety tests, so Warren police got a search warrant for their blood, WWJ's Charlie Langton reports.
The driver was released pending those results, which will determine if they will face charges.
