DETROIT (WWJ) -- Michigan State Police say an 18-year-old woman who was killed in a crash on I-94 this morning wasn't wearing a seat belt.
The woman was driving westbound around 2:00 a.m. on Thursday when she apparently lost control of her vehicle just past Van Dyke in Detroit.
The car went up the embankment and then rolled back onto the freeway. Firefighters had to cut the roof off to get her out.
The driver suffered serious head trauma and later died at the hospital.
The crash remains under investigation.
