(WWJ) – It’s Friday the 13th, and what better way to observe the world’s “unluckiest day” than to share some spooky stories!

And as it turns out, there are plenty of goosebump-inducing tales from right here in Michigan.

WWJ’s Zach Clark and Annie Scaramuzzio spent this past Halloween searching for Michigan's scariest stories at some of the state’s famously haunted places.

From Detroit’s most haunted bar, to a rather “spirited” hotel on Mackinac Island, here is what they found:

1. Mackinac Island: A long and spooky history

2. The Two-Way Inn: Detroit's oldest and most haunted bar

3. The real story behind Eloise Asylum in Wayne County

4. Is The Whitney mansion in Detroit the most haunted restaurant in America?
