SAGINAW (WWJ) - Federal agents are turning to the public for help after an attempted bank robbery in Saginaw remains unsolved nearly six months later.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the Saginaw Police Department are asking Michiganders for assistance in identifying a Black male suspect that they say tried to rob the Team One Credit Union at 520 Hayden Street in Saginaw on December 29, 2022.
According to the FBI, the suspect entered the bank around 9:10 a.m. that Thursday dressed in a white 3M branded hard hat, a white face mask and a bright yellow short-sleeved t-shirt wit reflective stripes over a dark, long-sleeved shirt.
He then came up to the teller and slipped a note demanding money, agents added. When he left, the suspect took the note with him.
Agents did not say if the man was able to leave with any cash.
The unidentified man was last seen the leaving the area in a black Nissan Altima with black rims and black tinted windows.
