(WWJ) Emergency crews were on the scene, early Tuesday evening, of a pizza shop on fire in Birmingham.
The blaze broke out sometime late Tuesday afternoon at Primo's Pizza, located along S. Adams Road near Lincoln St. and Woodward Avenue.
Shortly before 6 p.m., flames could be seen shooting from the roof of the building, as firefighters fought to keep the fire under control.
Local residents reported black smoke billowing from the shop, and police were directing traffic safely away from the scene.
There's no word yet from authorities on what may have caused the fire, and it's not clear how much damage there is to the building.
There have been no reports of any injuries.
