Beginning on Saturday, Jan. 15 at 5 a.m., preliminary work will close down the northbound I-75 exit ramp to 11 Mile Road in Madison Heights as construction begins on a retaining wall.

Drivers traveling on northbound I-75 in that area will be rerouted to 14 Mile Road through mid-November.

The overpass on Lincoln Avenue that runs above I-75 will also close this weekend as workers relocate a sewer line prior to a full bridge replacement project.

Additionally, I-696 eastbound and westbound ramps to northbound I-75 will be closed through Sunday, Jan. 16 at 5 p.m.

Over the course of 2022, the I-75 modernization project in Oakland County will rebuild I-75 pavements, ramps and bridges from I-696 to 13 Mile Road.
