A 30-year-old man is under arrest in Pontiac after allegedly shot at a teenager in a dispute over a video gaming system.
The 19-year-old told police he was walking to his job at Burger King on Walton Boulevard just before noon yesterday when a car pulled up and someone opened fire. Three shots were fired at him.
He ran away, uninjured.
An investigation led officers to a nearby house where the suspect allegedly admitted the crime and told them he shot at the teen because he was angry. What drew his ire? He claimed the teen offered to sell him a gaming system, but instead just took his money and delivered nothing.
Deputies seized the man's gun and took him into custody. They say charges are pending.
