(WWJ) A Detroit man has died after he was hit by a car while trying to cross Telegraph Road in Southfield, early Monday morning.
According to Southfield Police, the 26-year-old victim was wearing dark clothing when he was struck near 9 Mile Road, at around 12:40 a.m.
EMS attempted life-saving measures, but the man died at the scene, police said, His name was not immediately released.
The driver involved in the crash stopped and was questioned by officers.
While the is investigation is ongoing, police said they do not beleive that alcohol or drugs were a factor.
