(WWJ) -- A tow truck driver from North Redford Towing has been fired after a video showed him kicking a man on the ground.
The video was filmed by a witness in the area and shows the driver, who has not been identified, in an altercation with another man. Several police vehicles were called to the scene, though it was unclear why police were called.
After some pushing and shoving, one officer brings the suspect to the ground, before the tow truck driver is seen kicking the man.
It was not immediately clear when or where the incident happened, but the video was posted to Facebook around 1:30 a.m. on Sept. 27.
The driver was fired in the aftermath of the video, according to a report from Fox 2 in Detroit.
It was not clear what led to the incident or why the driver kicked the other man, who was reportedly arrested.
Police are investigating the incident.
