(WWJ) -- A group in support of former President Donald Trump says it's planning a "Trump Won" rally on Tuesday.
The Michigan Conservative Coalition says it is holding the rally in Novi to "again demand a forensic audit" of the 2020 Presidential Election, saying "Lansing continues its failure to seriously investigate the 2020 elections, much less to pass simple yet meaningful election reforms."
The rally will be held from 4:30-6:30 p.m. at 8 Mile and Haggerty Roads, on the northeast and southwest corners of the intersection. A flyer from the group notes they will hold rallies "every Tuesday after."
The announcement of the rally comes a week after a court hearing where a federal judge asked probing questions to several lawyers that could be sanctioned for filing a lawsuit seeking to overturn the election results.
Many of Trump's supporters have claimed President Biden fraudulently won the election since last November.
"With more revelations about Arizona's and Georgia's troubling election processes coming out nearly every day we need to let Michigan's elected representatives and, frankly, the world know that we demand a forensic audit in Michigan," said Rosanne Ponkowski, President of Michigan Conservative Coalition, via a press release. "Until this critical forensic audit is conducted, voters will not trust Michigan elections again. Who won in 2020? Let's find that out."
The group says it plans to continue the rallies weekly.
"It is our intent to indefinitely continue these weekly 'Trump Won' events, until clear action is taken in Michigan," Ponkowski said. "Citizens deserve and demand action in Lansing."
