DETROIT (WWJ) - Police are turning to the public for help in finding a 28-year-old Detroit woman after she left a local hospital and disappeared last week.
The Detroit Police Department said that Antoinette Washington, 28, was last seen in the 2700 block of W. Grand Blvd. in Detroit after leaving a local hospital on Thursday, Nov. 9.
She has not been seen or heard from since.
Her mother told authorities that Washington is diagnosed with a mental illness and there are concerns about her wellbeing.
Authorities have now asked residents to keep an eye out as the search for Washington goes into its seventh day.
Washington is described as a Black female standing 5" 6" tall and weighing 135 lbs. She has black hair, green eyes and no known identifying marks or tattoos.
