DETROIT (WWJ) -- Detroit Police are hoping a tip from the public can help bring a missing woman home safe.
According to investigators, 38-year-old Minnie Brook was last seen at around 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 13, at her residence in the 15700 block of Ardmore, in the area of Fenkell and Hubbell Ave. on the city's west side.
Police said Brook drove away in a burgundy 2014 Nissan Maxima, and did not return home.
Brook is described as a Black female, 5'3'' tall and weighing around 200 lbs., with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black shirt with colorful writing, and black shorts with red dots.
According to her wife, Brook lives with bipolar and schizoaffective disorder, police said.
