ANN ARBOR (WWJ) – Ann Arbor police officials say a 76-year-old man with dementia who went missing over the weekend has been found.
Jack Werner was last seen walking away from a home in the area of 3rd Street near Wurster Park on Saturday.
He was found safe Monday afternoon, officials said.
Earlier in the day, another elderly Washtenaw County man who was reported missing Monday morning out of Northfield Township – north of Ann Arbor – was found.
Authorities said 75-year-old Nicholas Rine, who has Alzheimer's, left his home in a gold Ford Escape around 7:30 a.m. His wife said he's not supposed to drive alone and that he wouldn't know where he's going.
In an update Monday afternoon, Michigan State Police canceled an Endangered Missing Advisory for Rine, noting he had been found safe.
