LIVONIA (WWJ) -- Livonia Police have located the body of Kasey Debat, a 36-year-old wife and mother of two, who had been missing since Monday evening.

According to a Livonia PD press release, Debat was found dead on Wednesday in Northfield Township in Washtenaw County.

Sadly, police currently believe Kasey died by suicide.

Kasey Debat left home at 6:50 p.m. on Monday, September 5, after an argument with her husband, Mike.

Family reported Kasey missing after she did not return home that night and did not answer her cell phone.

Kasey's sister, Tiffany Sanchez, had told WWJ's Mike Campbell that she was "terrified" because Kasey would never leave her young daughters with no explanation.

Family shared that Kasey had mild depression and anxiety, but that she managed it well and was very healthy.

The investigation into Debat's disappearance and death will remain open, pending the findings of the Washtenaw County Medical Examiner.
