A motorcyclist crashed into a pedestrian on the east side of Detroit Tuesday, killing him.
The cyclist was on Gratiot, just north of Conner Street when he struck the 41-year-old. The victim was transported to the hospital, where he died.
The motorcyclist was thrown from the bike and was also taken to the hospital, where he is expected to recover.
Details about what may have caused the incident have not been revealed. The crash remains under investigation.
