(WWJ) The Oakland County Sheriff's Office is looking for a woman who allegedly stabbed her boyfriend multiple times in Pontiac.
The 44-year-old victim was taken to McLaren Oakland Hospital late Monday night following the incident, in the 70 block of Candlelite Lane.
Deputies and Star EMS responded to a home on a report of an assault. The caller, the victim's brother, said that his brother had been stabbed in the shoulder four or five times by his girlfriend.
Deputies were told by the victim's mother that the girlfriend had stabbed her son once in the past, said she'd do it again, and made good on the threat. After the stabbing, the man fled to his mom's house, which is across the street from her he lives with his girlfriend.
Deputies said the victim was initially uncooperative but eventually admitted to deputies what had happened.
Deputies canvassed the area searching for the suspect -- identified a 27-year-old Pontiac woman -- but they didn't find her. The incident remained under investigation Tuesday morning.
No names were released.
