OXFORD (WWJ) - Authorities say a shooting that left one person dead and two others injured in Oxford Township Tuesday evening appears to be "completely random."
One of the victims who was shot died on Wednesday, but the Oakland County Sheriff's Office said the other two victims should survive in an update posted on X.
"At this point it appears that the terrible events of last night were completely random with the suspect just passing through the community when he went off on a violet spree at multiple locations," the Tweet said.
The suspect is also allegedly a convicted felon who has past weapons offenses, authorities said.
"We intend to seek every possible charge against him," the Tweet said.
The suspect is in the Oakland County Jail pending formal charges.
None of the victims have been named at this time.
