CLINTON TOWNSHIP (WWJ) - Officials are asking residents and businesses that suffered property damage in Monday’s explosions in Clinton Township to fill out a form online.
In an update provided on Friday, Clinton Township officials encouraged residents and businesses to self-report any damage to their property using an online form. The form can be found here.
People that have any metal debris on their property should call the Macomb County Communications and Technology Center’s non-emergency number at 586-469-5502.
“Under no circumstances should canisters be handled or moved, as they may be dangerous with sharp edges,” the statement released Friday said.
Officials reiterated that the site is unsafe due to unexploded canisters still at the location. Hotspots continue to be battled by fire crews.
Clinton Township is working with authorities from the county, state and federal agencies to deal with the debris and get everything cleaned up.
