SOUTHGATE (WWJ) -- State police are on the hunt for a suspect following a lengthy chase early Thursday morning Downriver.
Officials say the incident started in Detroit just after 4:30 a.m., near 8 Mile an Meyers, when they came across a stolen Dodge Charger.
Troopers attempted to stop the car, but the driver fled, getting onto I-75.
A chase then ensued, leading police all the way to Southgate, where the suspects ran out of gas near Northline Road.
The driver and one passenger were taken into custody, but another male passenger fled the scene.
Police say they have good information on the identity of the suspect, as the investigation continues.
