DEARBORN (WWJ) -- Dearborn police are looking for the driver who fled the scene after hitting two young girls who were playing outside.

According to police, the siblings were playing in the area of Telegraph and Ross Street on Sunday afternoon when they were hit by a car.

The driver fled the scene and the girls were rushed to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The girls are expected to make a full recovery.

Any description of the vehicle or driver has been made available.

This incident comes just seven months after a 6-year-old girl was killed in a hit-and-run in Dearborn. The suspect, in that case, was arrested a few days later.
