(WWJ) Michigan State Police say troopers found a variety of violations, including a few felonies, during a traffic stop in the Lansing area.

The suspect was stopped for speeding 97 mph in a 55 mph zone in Eaton County on Monday, according to police.

When they pulled him over, troopers with the Lasing Post found that the 24-year-old man was driving under the influence of alcohol with open alcohol in the car, according to MSP.

The young man was arrested for what officials said was his third charge of operating while intoxicated.

Searching the car, troopers also found more than a dozen packets of cocaine and a long gun.

Along with the OWI, the man is facing charges of carrying a concealed weapon (CCW), open alcohol in a car, driving with a revoked license, felony firearm and possession with intent to distribute (PWID) cocaine.

His name was not immediately released pending an arraignment.
