Two suspects arraigned for fatal shooting at Pontiac strip mall

(WWJ) - Two suspects have been arraigned for a fatal shooting in Pontiac that took place mid-January.

The Oakland County Sheriff's Office said they have arrested two suspects in relation to the fatal shooting of 27-year-old J'Son Markell Hunt.

"I am proud of the work by our team to take these two off the street," Sheriff Bouchard said. "They must be held accountable for this senseless shooting and violent homicide."

Jackson was arraigned on Jan. 26 on seven charges in the 50th District Court by the Oakland County Prosecutor's Office. Jackson has been charged with Homicide - Open Murder, three counts of Possession of a Firearm in the Commission of a Felony, Assault with Intent to Murder, Weapon - Firearms - Possession by a Felon and Weapons - Carrying Concealed, according to the written statement.

Boykin was arraigned on Jan. 25 in 50th District Court on three charges. He has been charged with two counts of Accessory after the Fact, which are felonies, and Lying to a Peace Officer - Violent Crime Investigation.
