(WWJ) A homicide investigation is underway on Detroit's west side, after a man was found dead in an SUV.
According to Detroit Police, the victim's body was discovered at around 9:30 a.m. Friday, in a gray Ford Escape in the area of Greenview and Joy Rd., just west of the Southfield Freeway.
Police said the man had been fatally shot, but other circumstances surrounding his death are unknown at this time.
The man was not immediately identified, and police did not describe him, or say how old he was believed to be.
