(WWJ) – The U.S. is experiencing the "highest number of drug poisonings ever recorded," thanks in large part to fentanyl.
But last week officials said a newly emerging drug known as "tranq" is making the crisis even worse "because of the hideous effects that it can have on those that use it."
On a new Daily J podcast, WWJ's Zach Clark learns about Xylazine, a drug used to sedate animals, is so deadly because it is resistant to Narcan, which is used to treat overdoses.
