Warren Police Commissioner Bill Dwyer said at the time that preliminary investigations showed Clark had gotten into an argument and a fight with 23-year-old Ashinay Horton-Starks.

The Detroit News reports that Clark then left the gathering with a friend, and was followed in her car by Horton-Starks, who was driving another vehicle. Horton-Starks is said to have fatally shot Clark in the head on Schoenherr between Masonic and 12 Mile Road.

She fled the scene and remained at large over the last six months, with a $5,000 reward out from Crime Stoppers for information leading to her whereabouts.

Horton-Starks was arrested by police in Bismarck, North Dakota on Dec. 30, according to The Bismarck Tribune.

She is now listed as an inmate at the Burleigh Morton Detention Center as a fugitive from justice on a homicide warrant, though murder charges are still pending.
