Slidell Police released more information today about a major heist of wheels and tires from the Matt Bowers Chevrolet dealership in Slidell.
It's estimated the thieves jacked up the cars using wooden blocks. Lug nuts were left all over the ground.
Police Chief Randy Fandal says it added up to a lot of dough.
''$120,000 dollars in tires and rims,'' said Fandal.
Some 124 tires and rims were taken and it appears the suspects could be part of a national theft ring hitting places in Texas and Oklahoma.
''They defeated locks, alarms, surveillance video and dimmed exterior lights, so no one could see them working in the dark,'' Fandal said.
It's believed the thieves worked in the early morning darkness over the weekend.
The Matt Bowers dealership has put up a $25,000 dollar reward leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible.
