Four people, one of them a 16-year-old, were indicted Thursday on charges connected with the March shooting death of a New Orleans teenage girl and the wounding of four others.
District Attorney Leon Cannizzaro's office announced the charges today.
17-year-old Tyneisha Muse was fatally shot in New Orleans' St. Claude neighborhood March 29.
20-year-old Joshua Augillard, 18-year-old Reginald Blanton and 19-year-old Corey Harris were charged with conspiracy to commit second-degree murder in the killing.
The 16-year-old faces charges in two attempted second-degree murder counts in other March shootings. Harris, Augillard and Blanton also face other charges in the other March attacks, including the wounding of an 18-year-old hit in the shootings that left Muse dead.
The suspects will be arraigned Friday and have yet to enter pleas.
