Breezy skies and temperate winds are giving way to wet weather.
WWL-TV meteorologist Payton Malone says high clouds moving through are the signs that a change is on the way.
Starting early tomorrow morning and continuing through Monday, the area will have about a 30-40% chance of rain and thunderstorms.
This moisture is coming from a system pushing in from the Pacific and across the upper part of the country.
Rain is expected through Tuesday with high temperatures in the 70's.
Showers will continue into Wednesday as high temperatures start to edge downward.
Thursday will be cloudy and cooler with highs in the low 60's and clouds starting to move on by Friday.
