Heads up! Small plane makes emergency landing on Lafourche highway

A truck driver's dash-cam captured the amazing sight of a small plane coming in for a landing on LA Hwy 3235 in Lafourche Parish this morning. WWL-TV meteorologist Payton Malone shared the incredible sight on his Twitter account:

The driver, on his run for Breaux Petroleum this morning around 8:00 a.m., got a front-row seat at the pilot's deft touch in setting the plane down on the roadway.

There's no word from authorities on what necessitated the landing.
