Warm, dry conditions will continue through today and tonight, but humidity will start push back into the picture beginning Friday and over the weekend, showers possible.
WWL-TV’s Local Weather Expert Dave Nussbaum’s forecast: “Not too much has changed with our weather today. The weak front remains over SE Louisiana today. We will have more sunshine, some less humid air this afternoon and coastal showers and storms again. Some of the storms could be strong with gusty winds and heavy rain. High temperatures will be in the mid 90s with the heat index 100-105. Tonight will be mostly clear and a little muggy with lows north in the lower 70s and south in the mid 70s. The front will lift north on Friday and that will slowly increase the humidity across SE Louisiana. It will be mostly sunny with a few showers and storms mainly along the coast. High temperatures will still be in the mid 90s.”
