WWLTV’s Meteorologist Dave Nussbaum says, “It will be another hot and very humid day as an area of high pressure remains over the eastern Gulf of Mexico. This will pump in plenty of moisture from the south. Winds will be out of the southwest again, so the sea breeze will help set off more scattered showers and storms today. The best chance will be across the Southshore, but we will have a few more pop-up across the Northshore this afternoon. High temperatures will be in the mid-90s and the heat index will be around 105+. Tonight will be muggy with a few coastal showers and storms. Lows will be in the 70s and 80s. Wednesday's weather will stay hot and humid, but we will have a little better chance/coverage of storms on both sides of the lake. High temperatures will remain in the mid-90s”
