LSU quarterback Joe Burrow's father says his son wouldn't mind being drafted by the Cincinnati Bengals.

"He's excited to even be in that conversation and if the Bengals do draft him, he's going to be happy," said Jimmy Burrow, in an interview with Melnick in the Afternoon on Montreal's TSN 690 radio. "He looks at it as a challenge but he will be confident that eventually they can win a lot of games there in Cincinnati."

When asked has he talked to his son about the possibility of being drafted by a team with the NFL’s worst record, Burrow said, “If you are the top pick or one of the top picks, you know… that is the way the NFL Draft is set up. You are not going to get picked by a team that has a great record.”

His son is no stranger to Ohio football. Joe played at Athens High School, less than 160 miles from Cincinnati. He also played for Ohio State for two years before transferring to LSU.

The Heisman Trophy winner led LSU to an undefeated season and to a College Football Playoff National Championship victory in New Orleans on Monday.
