JPSO Sheriff Joe Lopinto announced this everning that one person is in custody in the deaths of 2 children and an adult who were found dead in Terrytown. 2 others were injured and in a local hospital, both children.
"We do have a person in custody," Lopinto said. "This person has confessed to the crime."
Lopinto said it appears to be blunt force trauma but says the coroner will confirm after an autopsy is done.
JPSO was called out to a home in the 900 block of Monterey Court this morning around 7 a.m. to find 2 children and an adult woman dead, and 2 other children seriously injured.
