The Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office investigates a homicide in the Jefferson neighborhood.
Sheriff Joe Lopinto says it happened around 10:30 p.m. in the 200 block of Jules Avenue. Lopinto says when dispatched deputies arrived on the scene they found a man with apparent multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
Investigators didn’t say if they had a suspect of motive at this time.
