The questions about whether or not the LSU baseball Tigers baseball team did enough to secure a regional host site have been answered. The college baseball tournament selection committee awarded LSU a regional host site as the top-16 seed. LSU finished in the top 16 RPI (Ratings Power Index), strength of schedule and had 20 wins in the SEC. The rest of the 64-team field will be released tomorrow afternoon.
