Cops responded to the 3200 block of Morrice Duncan Drive just before 4:15 p.m. and when they arrived they found the victim with a gunshot wound to the body.
Police provided an update after initially reporting the shooting. They confirmed the man died as a result of his injuries.
They are treating the death as a homicide. He has not been identified by police.
There is no other information provided as a possible motive in the shooting.
