Another heat warning due to dangerously high temperatures for your Monday.

WWL-TV’s Dave Nussbaum says, “An area of high pressure remains over us today. This will keep it very hot and very humid. It will be partly cloudy, but today we will have a little better chance for spotty showers and storms this afternoon and evening. They could be strong to severe with damaging winds, heavy rain and a ton of lightning. The Storm Prediction Center has placed part of SE Louisiana in a Marginal Risk (Level 1 of 5) for severe weather.”
