The New Orleans Police Department this morning responded to a report of an active shooter at Eleanor McMain High School, and the Uptown campus went into lockdown. Police say the call was unfounded.
"A juvenile suspect believed responsible for the call has been detained," police said. "Charges are pending at this time."
No further information has been made available.
