After first denying rubber bullets were fired at protectors during a confrontation on the Crescent City Connection Wednesday night, New Orleans Police Chief Shaun Ferguson says now they are investigating to see if that happened.
"That is under investigation, and I tell you this: if we did use that, I will own that," Ferguson said Friday morning
Amateur video posted online shows something streaking by protesters shortly after the tear gas was deployed. Another protest is planned tonight, this one in Jackson Square.
