New Orleans officials this evening said work continues to bring down the partially-collapsed Hard Rock Hotel construction site sooner, rather than later.
"Our contractor the we hired, as our consultants to make sure that the plan was vetted properly, has been reviewing that plan," said New Orleans Fire Chief Tim McConnell, "to ensure that the thing is safe and that the person or the entity that is doing the job is qualified."
McConnel said their aim is to have the building imploded some time in late March.
