Thanks to the quick thinking of two patrons at Rock'n'Bowl last week, a man will live to dance the night away again.
In the video below, you can see the man, at left, fall down. His dance partner immediately starts chest compressions, and a short time later, another patron, who happened to be an ER nurse, responds with one of the establishments automated external defibrillators, or AEDs.
"Several months ago, we installed AED machines at Rock'n'Bowl and Ye Olde College Inn, should such an event ever occur," Rock'n'Bowl posted on its Facebook page. "Doctors said if not for the immediate compressions and the AED device on the premises, this man would never have survived."
